Cpanel MySQL databases and PhpMyAdmin showing different Database list

Hello Friends,

Recently I came across and issue  where the database list shown in cPanel Home >> MySQL databases page and the list of databases shown in PhpMyAdmin are different.

This is an issue which caused due to corrupted DB map and usually occurs after cPanel update process. This can be fixed by running the following script in your command line:
~~~~
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/setupdbmap
~~~~

Sometimes running this script will show your errors. I such cases re-run your cPanel update, then check and update your perl modules and then run the dbmap setup script. The set of scripts are as follows:
~~~~
/scripts/upcp –force
/scripts/checkperlmodules –force
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/setupdbmap
~~~~

Thank you so much for reading my posts. I am grateful to you for all your support.

Have a Great Day 😉 🙂 🙂
